Persuading again and again is pressure

Someone tells you: when she says “no sex unless we're in a relationship,” it just means her guard isn't down yet, not that she means it. Add the idea that “if her body doesn't pull away, she likes it,” and deliberately stop texting back to win the standoff. Why is this harmful, and what's healthier?
